Just Post Impact
There has been endless speculation about Mr. Hogan and the "Secret." We would love to say this is without question "The Hogan Secret!", but we can not. However, we have been extremely fortunate. Because of the passion and generosity of Dr. Jim Greenwald and The Reno Orthopedic Clinic, we had many tremendous advantages. First, we had a well-stocked biomechanics lab at the University of Nevada at Reno, complete with a full-time biomechanist. Second, with the collaborative work of Tony Faroah , our biomechanist, the Ariel Performance Analysis System software, and Silicon Graphics (SGI), we were able to build a three-dimensional model of "The Hogan Swing."
Sadly, the "Secret" may long remain undiscovered. Using "The Blobman Protocols," we will share the many thought-provoking sequences and relationships we have found in our long exhaustive study of "The Hogan Swing" with you.

When you hover over the Release button then hover over the Impact button (actually, just past Impact) above you can begin to appreciate the amount of work Mr. Hogan generated through Impact.
This Hogan footage illustrates how dramatically Mr Hogan’s Arms and Hands are being pulled by his Pivot. Additionally, the footage would tend to indicate how important the work of the Hips, Feet, and Shoulders are to generating motion well beyond Impact. His work is smoothly and completely to the Finish.
The picture below allows seeing the “moment of truth,” and we can see why the golf ball continually understood his intended message. His Impact alignments can serve as a model for all of us!
